Our saffron bulbs (crocus sativus) are produced on our plots of land located in France. Our know-how and experience allow us to produce saffron bulbs of the highest sanitary quality. Our filtering soils give us healthy and vigorous bulbs.
Each year, our plots are inspected by an official body in order to establish the necessary
phytosanitary controls on the batches of saffron bulbs.
Laboratory tests are carried out on the soil and on the bulbs. These tests and field inspections
are carried out in April. Our company is committed to ensuring that our bulbs meet the
requirements of the importing country.
We are at your disposal for any advice and visits in order to better assist you in your project of creating a saffron farm. From its scientific name Crocus Sativus, you will find here saffron bulbs with a circumference between 7 and 8 cm.
This 7-8 cm calibre saffron crocus will have an average 40% chance of revealing 1 flower per bulb in the first year after plantation. It is therefore the ideal saffron bulb for long-term cultivation. It is the cheapest bulb, the cheapest of all calibres. As the years go by, your saffron bulbs, of initially 7-8 cm calibre, will grow and increase their flowering probabilities.
The diameter of these saffron bulbs is between 2.2 and 2.5 cm.
